What to Expect

If you are planning to visit, here are some things to expect:

What time does service start and how long does it last?

We start exactly at 10:30am on Saturdays! A typical service at the Harvest is 1.5 hours long. We’ll begin with Hebraic dance and worship, some liturgy, someone sharing a couple of announcements and welcoming everyone, a reading from the Torah, and then Pastor Mark will share a message. Most services wrap up with prayer. You’re always invited to stick around in the open areas to meet someone new, grab a cup of coffee, or head out whenever you’d like.

Are there any other ministries that happen on Saturdays?

From 8:00am on, we have coffee available for all those who come to services that day. We have a lovely coffee bar area that you can sit in and fellowship with others if you happen to arrive early to service.

We also offer an intercessory prayer time and a Torah Midrash Class on Saturdays before service. Intercessory Prayer is from 8:30 - 9:00am and you can join us downstairs in Room 1 for a time of worship and group prayer. Each intercessory prayer session will have a specific theme which can be found out on the handouts in Intercession. The Torah Midrash Class is from 9:15am - 10:15am and you can join us downstairs in Room 1 for a time of teaching and discussion on each week’s Torah Portion. The Torah Portions are a Bible reading plan which follows the passages of Scripture that are read aloud in Jewish synagogues every week. Genesis through Deuteronomy is broken into 54 portions containing a few chapters each. You can find this week’s Torah Portion here.

What about my kids?

Kids and families are a huge part of the Harvest and that’s why we want to make sure your kids have a blast with our safe, fun, and engaging activities every Shabbat!

Torah Time is for 3 through 10 years of age. During each service, your kids will be dismissed to their perspective classrooms to have fun singing songs, playing games, doing crafts, and experiencing Jesus in an interactive and safe environment. Each class does provide a snack during the class time. Please inform us of allergies or health issues your child may have to help us keep your child safe and know how to help them. We also have a cry room available for parents to take their children, ages birth to 3 years old, to which is be available from 8:15am to 12:15pm. Children must be overseen by a parent approved adult. The livestream will be available in the nursery for those who use it.

The Harvest Youth is for ages 11 - 17 and happens every Saturday before service from 9:15am - 10:15am.
