Join us Sunday May 27th at Central Park - Denver for an all day Shavuot celebration
Shavuot (also known as Pentecost) commemorates the giving of the Torah on Mt. Sinai and the receiving
of the Holy Spirit as recorded in Acts Chapter 2. This festival is one of the three Biblical pilgrimage festivals and marks
the conclusion of the Counting of the Omer. The date of Shavuot is directly linked to that of Passover. The Torah mandates
the seven-week Counting of the Omer, beginning on the day after the Sabbath. This counting of days and weeks is understood
to express anticipation and desire for the receiving of the Torah and the Spirit. You are not only invited, but encouraged to join us!
If you're joining us from out of town, there are many Hotels all around Central Park Denver. Click here for a complete list of Hotels.
Starting at 10:00 AM,  we'll be gathering together for a time of praise and worship led by Pastor Michael and Dani Golden of Voice
Many  Waters.  We will also have great Biblical teaching from speakers Rabbi/Pastor Burt Yellin of Roeh Israel,  Senior Pastor
Mark McLellan of Kehilat T'nuvah and Rabbi Chaim Urbach of Yeshuat Tsion. We'll also have congregational dance, prayer
groups for everyone wanting to be prayed over, and of course, feasting!   Remember to bring a picnic for all of your
family and friends. More details forthcoming. For more information, click here.
