About Us
This group demonstrates the love of Jesus through simple acts of kindness in a variety of ways. From feeding the homeless in downtown Denver with homemade burritos and healthy snacks, providing for some basic needs with personal hygiene items, clean socks, coats, hats or mittens to Service Dates cleaning up the yard of a disabled veteran or senior citizen…we intend to cover a vast array of needs during our monthly service days.
We have a core group committed to this mission and open up all of our service events to the Harvest community. In fact, if you find yourself looking at life as a half empty cup…I encourage you to join us for one afternoon! "It is better to give than to receive" and nothing will restore your joy, like serving another person!
We make homemade burritos on the last Shabbat, following service in the Harvest Kitchen. Then we meet downtown the following day, Sunday, to hand them out!
