Hanukkah: Identity and Perseverance

Hanukkah has been overlooked by the traditional Church for nearly 2000 years! This is due to the early gentile Church separating herself from Israel and her Scriptures and claiming that she has replaced her as the people of God. She then created new traditions and holy days to ensure that nobody would confuse her with being part of Israel. This resulted in Gentile Christians being deeply confused about their identity and mission in this world. Hanukkah is the pathway back to the roots of our faith and the people we are grafted into. Our identity is rooted in the ancient people and nation of God! Join us as we look at the celebration of Hanukkah through the lens of the Prophets as well as Jesus Himself.
