The New Covenant: Divorce, Remarriage, and a Mystery Unfolded
What exactly is the New Covenant and is it really what most people think it is? Drawing from powerful prophetic texts in Isaiah and Jeremiah, we discuss how Israel's unfaithfulness led to separation, and how God promised a future restoration—a remarriage—that would not only impact Israel and Judah, but ultimately the Gentiles as well. We will uncover the implications of the "divorce decree" issued by God, the mystery of the lost tribes, and the critical moment when the Old Covenant was broken and a New Covenant was promised.
